Ras El Hanout Morrocan Spice Mix

Literally translated as “head of shop,” the Arabic phrase ras el hanout really means “top shelf.” Legend has it this Moroccan spice blend was created by North African spice dealers who would mix together the best of what they had on offer, thus creating a heady, aromatic signature blend—sometimes 50 individual spices deep.
How to use:
As a classic Moroccan spice mix that is often used in spice rubs, marinades, soups, and other recipes. Mix with olive oil and generasly drizzle on cauliflowerto roast, add to yoghurt as a dip, fantastic with split peas, lentils and chickpeas, all pulses really. We love to use Ras El Hanout to roast carrots with.
